Fall 2007
- Jewelry/Craft Night
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2007
6:30 pm Daniels 341
Our only social event for the semester! We will have an instructor from the NCSU Craft Center teaching us how to
make two strand beaded necklaces! There will be two color options
available: red and orange (NCSU SWE colors) or blue and purple (National
SWE colors).
RSVP by Friday November 2nd by emailing swe.ncsu@gmail.com. We will only
be able to take 30 members so please RSVP as soon as you know
you'd like to attend! We will be bringing both color options but please
let us know by Friday evening (the 19th) with your RSVP email if you have
strong preference for one over the other.
Please bring $2 on November 6th to help pay for supplies! The necklace
clasp does contain nickel so if you are allergic to nickel you need to
purchase a sterling silver lobsterclaw and a CLOSED jump ring. You can
find these at many craft stores for just a few dollars. If you aren't
able to purchase these on your own but would like them please say so in
the email and we will notify you of the cost and bring it to the event.
(Please still bring $2 to help pay for supplies even if you get a sterling
silver clasp) This is a great way to take a study break and come meet and have fun with other girls in engineering.
