How to Join SWE

Joining SWE is easy, and we accept new members at any time! Membership to NCSU's chapter is FREE. To become part of SWE:

• Attend our next meeting. To find out when our next meeting is, check out our Upcoming Meetings page.

• Check out this powerpoint to learn what we are all about!

• Join our listserv. E-mail us at swe.ncsu@gmail.com and tell us you would like to join our mailing list. Alternatively, you can add yourself to the mailing list.  Navigate to: http://lists.ncsu.edu/cgi-bin/mj_wwwusr/domain=lists.ncsu.edu and under “Shortcuts for Common Tasks” select “Subscribe to a List” and press the “Go” button.  Type “ncsuswe” (one word) and select “Choose List.”  Enter your e-mail address and optionally your name then select “Choose Address.”  A page opens that confirms you are now subscribed to “ncsuswe.”  You should receive an e-mail shortly confirming your e-mail as well.

• Join National SWE (optional). We highly encourage (not required) you become part of national SWE, which will allow you to attend the SWE National Conference, get the SWE magazine, and a bunch of other good stuff. A student membership is $20/year. Click here to fill out an application.
