Purpose:
To motivate HKN members to become more active in our organization.

Scholarship:
The scholarship will be awarded to the most active HKN member at the Spring picnic. Depending on fund-raising, this amount may actually increase, but it will never decrease. The most active student is selected by the number of activities he or she has participated in during the current academic year. In case of a tie, students may be requested to submit their current resume and will be judged by the current officers, the current adviser, and faculty who are members of HKN. The winner's name will be placed on the Most Outstanding HKN Member Award plaque and will be displayed in the HKN viewing case in Daniels. The following must be satisfied to be eligible for this scholarship:

• Must be a current member of Eta Kappa Nu. Current inductees are not eligible for this year's scholarship, but will be for the next year's competition.
• Must meet active member requirements for the entire year (see honor cord requirements below)

Honor Cord:
To obtain an honor cord, the following guidelines must be met per semester:

• 3 tutoring sessions
• 2 volunteer events
• 2 meetings/guest speakers
