Engineers Week 2009 at NC State
Join the NC State College of Engineering the week of February 16-21, 2009, to celebrate Engineers Week!
Engineers Week is a nationwide event celebrating engineering and its many contributions to society. Throughout the week, the College of Engineering, the Engineering Foundation, the Engineers' Council, and various student organizations host exciting and educational events for the students of NC State.
Every day during E-Week there are fun activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m in the Brickyard or Centennial Campus. In addition, every evening features a different professional-development workshop, where free food will be provided, as well as the chance to win $250 book scholarships. These workshops are presented by the Engineering Foundation and our sponsors, with many distinguished alumni and guests participating. New this year is the Green Engineering at NC State lecture series, which highlights research going on at NC State. Free lunch from Carolina Cafe will be provided at these events!
All students, whether they are engineers or not, are invited to participate in all events!
