The ECE Graduate Student Association (ECE GSA) takes this opportunity to welcome all new Electrical & Computer Engineering students to North Carolina State University. Helpful Links Around the University

  • University Housing
    University Housing at NC State provides help in finding housing availabilities in and around the NC State Campus. It provides information on Residence Halls, Apartments, Family Housing, Conference Services, etc. with a list of facilities, rental rates and so on.

  • Association for the Concerns of African American Graduate Students (ACAAGS)
    The Association for the Concerns of African American Graduate Students is an independent student organization for all students who seek to address the needs, concerns and interests specific to African American graduate students. For African American Graduate Students, it provides an oppportunity to meet other African American students and share experiences.

  • Chinese Student & Scholars Friendship Association (CSSFA)
    CSSFA provides support to Chinese Students attending NC State. Some of the help provided include temporary housing for incoming students, help in finding good, permanent accomodation and so on. It organizes events such as Barbeques and Sporting activities to bring together Chinese students from different departments.

  • Korean Students Association (KSA)
    The Korean Student Association boasts over 20 years of history. Many NCSU KSA members are playing important roles in a number of academic and professional fields. KSA is always trying to reach out to all the people that have to do with NCSU and/or Korea. KSA consists of over hundreds of graduate students, undergraduate students, faculty members and postdoctorals. KSA also tries to help exchange students and visiting scholars from Korea.

  • Indian Graduate Student Association (MAITRI)
    MAITRI is an organization that provides a focal point for interaction of students from India. The majority of Masters and Doctoral students in Electrical & Computer Engineering are from India, so MAITRI provides an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with fellow Indian students. Several activities are organized throughout the year to bring together Indian students on campus, such as Cricket, Volleyball and Soccer Tourneys, and outings.

  • Brentroad.com
    Brentroad.com provides an excellent opportunity to learn what other NC State students think about classes offered and the professors who teach them. This helps when deciding what classes to register for and what to expect. The site provides information on classes such as Instructors Names, Schedule, Grade Distributions for a couple of semesters, etc.

  • NCSU Graduate School
    For general information about NC State's Graduate School program, visit the Graduate School page. They provide information on Applications and deadlines, Graduate degrees offered at NC State, Degree requirements, Events and Funding opportunities.

  • Office of International Scholar and Student Services (OISSS)
    The OISSS is a very important resource for international students. OISSS typically holds orientation seminars for new students during the Fall and Spring semesters. The advisors are available to help with I-20s, Employment Authorizations, registration with the new SEVIS system and so on.
