GSA Events

Each semester the ECE Graduate Student Association hosts a picnic to welcome new students to the department and to socialize with each other and faculty. In the fall (and occasionally in the spring), they sponsor a seminar competition to give students a practical experience with presenting their research. Presentations are typically 15 minutes long and are judged by a panel of faculty and industry researchers. In the fall of 2005, the ECE GSA added a poster presentation category to their seminar event.
