| The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Student Association (ECE-GSA) welcomes you!
As a graduate student in the ECE Department, you are officially a member of the ECE Graduate Student Association (GSA).
The ECE-GSA's goal is to actively represent the ECE graduate students to the department and to serve as an active link between the graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni. This gives ECE graduate students an active voice in the department, and acts as an open forum to discuss concerns they may have with the department.
In addition, through social, professional, and academic events, the ECE-GSA fosters unity among the ECE graduate students, promotes the academic and professional development of the graduate students, and enhances the quality of ECE graduate student life. Events held by the ECE-GSA range from a fall picnic to the semiannual graduate student seminar that is held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. The ECE-GSA also sponsors intramural teams, competitions and seminars, as well as providing the ECE graduate students with opportunities to volunteer in and serve their community.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to voice them at one of our meetings or place them in the ECE Comment Boxes or email one of the ECE-GSA’s officers.
The ECE comment boxes that located on floors 1-3 in the west side of EB2 (the ECE side) and two are also in MRC. The ECE-GSA checks these boxes on a regular basis and the anonymous comments collected can then be found here.
