CSC GSA Elections for 2008-2009
The Computer Science Graduate Student Association represents graduate students in Computer Science at both departmental and university levels; promotes the academic and professional development of graduate students in Computer Science; and serves to enrich the Computer Science graduate student community through events and initiatives.
Voting for next year's CSC GSA executive officers is open until 4/21/2008. Any CSC graduate student may take part in the election process by
visiting the election survey. (The web survey automatically restricts access to CSC graduate students.) Please vote for your graduate student representatives!
The following positions are open for voting:
- President: The President guides the association with long-term goals in mind. The President is the main contact for external affairs and also must ensure that the association is in good standing with the UGSA.
Candidate: Joseph Grafsgaard (Joe's statement)
- Vice President: The Vice President helps lead the association internally, and also acts as a proxy for the President when requested.
Candidate: Mohan Iyer
- Treasurer: The Treasurer keeps track of the association's finances, which involves interaction with department staff and record keeping.
Candidates: Prasanth Anbalagan, Anjing Wang (Anjing's statement)
- At-Large Officer (4 positions): The At-Large officers' duties may be assigned as needed. Generally, they help plan and carry out the association's activities.
