Why You Should Attend

Whether you are looking for a full-time job or a co-op or internship, you will find the Engineering Career Fair at NC State University a great place to start.

The Engineering Career Fair will be held at the McKimmon Center (Map). Students may attend any time between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm . Engineering Career Fair shuttle buses run continuously, see Shuttle Tracker

Please dress professionally and bring your student ID and multiple copies of your resume.

Getting Prepared

You are strongly encouraged to seek out and take advantage of the many resources available to engineering students through the Career Development Center.

Please dress professionally. Bring your student ID and multiple copies of your resume!

  • Career Fair Checklist
    Know what to do before, during and after the fair to maximize your success.
  • ePACK
    Set up your ePACK account before the fair. Employers use ePACK to post internships, entry-level jobs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews associated with the fair.
  • Co-op Orientation
    Attend a co-op orientation beforehand so that you are prepared to discuss co-op opportunities with companies at the fair.
  • Career Guide
    Refer to this indispensable resource – a student favorite – to view the 4-year career plan, sample resumes, interview guidelines and tips for success on the job.

Transportation

TAKE THE SHUTTLE!

Parking is NOT available at the McKimmon Center. We recommend parking at Vaughn Towers. The parking is unlimited and on our shuttle bus line.

We provide transportation to and from the Engineering Career Fair all day.
Service is from 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM.

Dedicated NC State Engineering Career Fair shuttle buses run continuously from the Main Campus (Coliseum Surface Parking Lot pick-up loop at Cates Avenue entrance), Centennial Campus (Oval bus stop), and Vaughn Towers (near Carter-Finley Stadium on Trinity Road) to the McKimmon Center (see map).

Additionally, Wolfline has routes with stops at or near the McKimmon Center.
