AWRA Gives Back
Every year the AWRA Student Chapter takes on at least one service project within the community. Last year we planted approximately 250 new trees at Rocky Branch. This year we took a trip to the Falls Lake Dam and canoed around the lake picking up trash.
If you have any suggestions or would like to put us in contact with someone for another project, we would love to hear from you! AWRA is always eager to give back! Please send your suggestions and ideas to Natalie Gurkin (nbgurkin@ncsu.edu).
We will post more information regarding the 2009 service projects that we choose as soon as it becomes available.
