ALPHA PI MU
Industrial Engineering Honor Society
What is Alpha Pi Mu?
| |
Throughout the field of
Industrial Engineering, Alpha Pi Mu is a highly recognized society, identifying
its members as being the top of their class. The society of Alpha Pi Mu serves
to promote the field of Industrial Engineering through monthly meetings, guest
speakers, information sessions, community service, and social activities.
Moreover, the society offers students the opportunity to interact among their
peers and form relationships to last beyond college. Finally, potential
employers recognize Alpha Pi Mu students as leaders, able to bring their high
level of academic achievement to the work force. With the possibilities
available as an Alpha Pi Mu member, it is no surprise that its students have
entered and succeeded in industry, such as Edward Woolard, CEO of Dupont
Industries and member of the Alpha Rho Chapter at NCSU in 1956.
News: Zack Adams and Kylie Goodell are both winners of the 2008 Alpha Pi Mu Scholarship. NC State and Va Tech were the only two schools with 2 winners.
