About ANS

NCSU's ANS chapter is a student-run organization. Our monthly meetings include dinner and we frequently invite a guest speaker. Other activities involve outreach to local schools, social events, and department festivities. Participating in ANS is a great way to meet people in the department, get a new perspective on NE, and have fun!

The American Nuclear Society is a not-for-profit, international, scientific and educational organization. The core purpose of ANS is to promote the awareness and understanding of the application of nuclear science and technology.
