To celebrate the new year, ACM/AITP along with the other engineering organizations on campus organize a welcome back party with free food and prizes.

CSC, ECE, BME, and CHE students are invited to attend a celebration of the start of a new semester. Food will be served and student organizations will have bootsh set up in the breezeway.

A scavenger hunt and a raffle will also take place with prizes given away.

The DJ attending will be Roy Fuller.

The ECE & CSC departments hosted a welcome back party on August 29th, 2006 in the EBII atrium. Many different organizations from each department were present. After the meeting their was a scavenger hunt in which the first place winner received an MP3 player. Free food (hotdogs and pizza) and drinks were served. Also a volleyball net was set up and we even had music performed by a hired DJ.

We had such a great turnout (in fact the line for pizza filled up the entire outside atrium area) that we had to order more pizza for everyone. It was a great time to meet each organization and the students that make up the ECE and CSC departments.
