The IBM mentoring program is a way for you to meet IBM engineers in person. As the mentor program begins in the Fall semester you will have to contact Linda Brown, the IBM representative in charge of the IBM mentor program, as space is limited.
The program is designed to pair up students with an IBM engineer who will explore career experiences with the student. You will meet approximately once a month with your mentor. There are also tours of the IBM facility as well as a chance to gain insight for the future. More information can be found at http://www.ibm.ncsu.edu/pathfinder.
Sign up between August 27,2007 and September 21, 2007, and you'll get the chance to meet with your mentor every month from September to April — or even longer if you and your mentor agrees.
Got questions? You can talk with someone actually working in your chosen field of study about career experiences and technical job trends — and that's just to start. ~excerpt from http://www.ibm.ncsu.edu/pathfinder.php
Please check the IBM Pathfinder Event Calendar to find the dates and descriptions of events happening at NCSU.
